_{I seem to get comments on my texturing skills fairly often and I'm so flattered that people seem to like the way I go about things texture wise. So here I am doing a texture feature and I have grouped selected textures in a way in which I make use of them.

LIGHTING
-texture itself can help create interesting lighting in your piece.

FRAMING
-you don't have to use an actual frame to get a great subtle yet effective framed style. look for an all over texture with great framing edges and just bring them out.

CLOUDS
-if you don't use anything else, use clouds! they can really add some dimension to the work and even help with lighting. if you want a fog look, this is your texture.

PRINTS
-i often hear "great brushes" but that's not the case. it's all about prints and messing with the pieces you want to get a more well balanced texture rather then a flat brush.

PAPER
-we all love the dirty paper, can't get enough of it. a few stains here and there on your work...haha, you just can't go wrong.

-a few of our favorite packages that im sure you've seen, and if you haven't...well then download them and hold them close because they really rocked it.

-as you all know, this is only my opinion. though i really do hope you all found it useful, i myself am bookmarking this and using it as a library
